Welcome to ideoMap. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our website, taking our political ideology quiz, or purchasing digital access to community analytics.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ideoMap ("the platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the website or its services.

2. Purpose of the Platform & Non-Affiliation

• Educational & Self-Reflection: ideoMap is an interactive educational and self-reflection tool designed to help individuals reflect on their socio-political viewpoints across four core policy dimensions.
• Not Official Polling: The quiz results, community distributions, and analytical charts reflect voluntary, self-reported responses from online visitors. They do not constitute official election polling, exit polls, scientific censuses, or representative demographic research.
• Political Neutrality: ideoMap is strictly independent and non-partisan. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, financed by, or endorsing any political party, candidate, electoral agency, or governmental body in India or abroad.

3. User Participation & Conduct

• Anonymity & Nicknames: You may take the quiz without registration. You may enter any nickname or pseudonym. You agree not to enter abusive, unlawful, obscene, or defamatory words in the name field.
• Integrity of Data: You agree not to use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to generate fake submissions or attempt to artificially distort the community ideology statistics.
• Personal Use: The quiz and individual result cards are provided for personal, non-commercial use and friendly sharing.

4. Digital Products & Paid Community Analytics

We may provide optional paid digital access to view advanced community analytics, demographic breakdowns, or ideological trend reports.

• Pricing & Taxes: All fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly indicated otherwise. We reserve the right to revise pricing at any time.
• Payment Gateway (Razorpay): Payments are handled securely via our authorized payment gateway partner, Razorpay Software Private Limited. By making a payment, you agree to comply with Razorpay's terms of service and payment processing protocols.
• Instant Digital Delivery: Access to the paid community dashboard or report is granted electronically and immediately upon confirmation of successful payment by the gateway. No physical goods are shipped.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

In accordance with Indian consumer protection standards and payment gateway regulations:

• Instant Intangible Services: Because access to the full community statistics and reports is an instant, digital service made accessible immediately upon transaction completion, all purchases are final and non-refundable once dashboard access has been unlocked.
• Technical Failures / Double Deductions: If funds were deducted from your bank account, card, or UPI but you were not granted digital access due to a server error, or if you were charged multiple times for the same transaction, you are eligible for a full refund.
• Refund Claim Process: To claim a refund for a failed or duplicate transaction, email us at YOUR-EMAIL@example.com within 7 days of the transaction with your Razorpay Payment ID, payment timestamp, and transaction amount.
• Settlement Timeline: Once verified, eligible refunds will be initiated within 2 business days and credited to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days, subject to bank processing times.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on ideoMap—including questions, explanatory notes, scoring algorithms, visual designs, icons, result classifications, and dashboard layouts—is the intellectual property of ideoMap and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may screenshot and share your individual result card on social media platforms. However, you may not copy, reproduce, mirror, republish, resell, or commercially exploit any community aggregate datasets or platform code without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ideoMap is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied. While we strive to ensure a smooth, error-free experience and respectful analysis, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely accurate at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ideoMap, its creators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to, use of, or inability to use this platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. The updated date at the top reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the website following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
